Smt Kapila Khandvala College of Education is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (N.C.T.E) and was established by Sadhana Education Society. The College was established by an eminent and hardworking team of talented social workers and educationists. It was renamed in 1977 from Sadhana Education Society in the honor and to commemorate the memory of Smt. Kapilaben Khandvala. This college provides B.Ed programs for teacher education and has had very dedicated principles to abide by since its inception. Smt. Kapila Khandvala college envisions the development of humane, creative and progressive leaders who act as catalysts for a social change to a distinctive teacher education program that is professional in approach and is integrated with values. It strives and aims to prepare prospective teachers who excel in teaching and display the positive attitude and values required to make effective contributions as educators to the teaching profession and towards creating a caring and just society.
