Smt. KSN Kansagara Mahila College is an academic institution dedicated to education and service having a committed and devoted academic fraternity. In its 39th year now, it dawns on a new era in the field of education. Ours is one of the outstanding institutions of Gujarat, affiliated with Saurashtra University, Rajkot. The idea of establishing an educational institution for women was laid down by the Founder Trustee Lt. Shri Valjibhai Patel and it was established by Lt. Shri Vallabhbhai Patel, Former Minister, Govt. of Gujarat, in the year 1974. In 1974 the institution started with 200 numbers of students. Today after a fruitful journey of 39 years, we have around 3000 students. We had begun with Arts and Commerce faculties and have now expanded ourselves to Business Administration, Computer Application, and Social Workstreams. We also have a recognized PG center for Psychology, Hindi, Social Work, and Commerce. We aim at holistic education. While assuring a healthy academic environment, we also promote a scientific and research-oriented attitude. Being an academic institution, we are also aware of our role and duty towards society. The institution does share social and citizen responsibilities through various activities bringing about community orientation.

Ours being a women‘s college is a challenge as well as a strength for us. Shaping students‘ life and career to enable them to contribute to the family and society at large is our paramount goal. Hence it is seen that students are enriched intellectually, aesthetically, and morally. This is achieved by our quality teaching and other activities. The college provides infrastructural and technological facilities mainly required for the development of the students. The college has a huge parking area for staff and students. The campus is surrounded by green trees and colorful swings for students to rest and study in their free time. Sometimes faculties also take a class in the midst of Nature. The college has a sports ground where students prepare for a sports tournament and NCC Drills. There are as many as 40+ classrooms well equipped with a multimedia projector and podium with microphones for the ease of the teachers. It has two computer labs and a language lab. Moreover, The Institute has two seminar halls. The library of college has a vast collection of books, magazines, journals, and newspapers. The library also has computers for students to do their projects. There is a separate staff corner in the library with a printer facility. There are two admin offices carrying out all the admin work for the students and the staff. The entire campus is connected to the Wi-Fi network.
