Admission Process

1. Admission to the Under Graduate Course will start immediately after the declaration of the result of XII Std. Examination.

2. Admission to Postgraduate courses will start immediately after the declaration of the Final Year results of Various UG Courses.

3. Notice for admission is given in the newspaper and also displayed on the Notice Board in the College.

4. To have transparency in the admission process, students are admitted on a merit basis considering the marks of previous examinations passed by the students.

5. The cut-off percentage for admission to undergraduate courses is 50 %.

6. Admission to the various reservation categories is made as per the Govt. norms.

How to Apply

1. The applicant may apply for admission only through the prescribed form, accompanying this prospectus.

2. The Prospectus, Identity Card, and Information Broucher may be purchased from the college office.

3. Parents / Father’s / Mother’s original signature is necessary at the given space on the form.

4. The application received after the last date specified by the university may be entertained only after permission from the university and is subject to the availability of seats for a particular course.

The following documents (duly attested 3 Xerox copies) must accompany the prescribed application form. (Before submitting the original certificates to the college, students should take out photocopies of the documents for their convenience.)

a. Mark Sheet of previous/qualifying exam.

b. Leaving / Transfer Certificate (TC) (Original Certificate of Institute last attended. Duplicate TC will not be entertained.)

c. Character Certificate.

d. Caste Certificate (Caste Certificate, Certified by Competent Authority for the Candidates from Reserved Categories).

e. Medical Certificate from Civil Surgeon in Case of Physically Handicapped Students (Indicating the nature and percentage of Physical Disability)

f. Migration Certificate : (For the applicants from other Universities)

g. Equivalence Certificate for students from universities other than Amravati University (without the equivalence certificate the admission cannot be confirmed)

h. Latest Passport Size Photograph (3 Copies).

i. Adhar Card.

7. For admission, there are different committees consisting of three to four members.

8. The admission form and the documents required are checked by the admission committee and direct admission is given to the students.

9. Enrollment forms are filled by the students at the time of admission.

10. The fee structure laid down by Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, Amravati is followed.

11. Fee structure as per the guidelines of SGB Amravati University & Separate sheet is available in the office.
