Smt. Sarojini Ramulamma College of Pharmacy was established in 1998 under the flagship of Dr. Balraj Garu, the Chairman of Sri Panuganti Krishna Murthy Educational Society, and continuously flourishing in the field of pharmaceutical sciences.

Smt. Sarojini Ramulamma College of Pharmacy has a large and well-maintained campus and offers a tranquil learning environment. Computer Lab:

There are adequate computer systems available for the students along with an internet facility on the college premises.

Herbal Garden

Yakub Pasha, Assistant Professor of the college motivated the Pharmacognosy faculty and students to develop Herbal Garden in the college premises. Collection of various herbal plants was undertaken by B. Pharm III Year students under the guidance of the faculty members.

The college provides separate hostel facilities for male and female students. The facility caters to and looks after the needs of students who are from all over the country and abroad. Located conveniently in the proximity of the college, the well-furnished hostels are equipped with all modern amenities and are efficiently administered to provide the right atmosphere for student life.

Book Bank:

B. Pharm, Pharm. D, D. pharm / M. pharm I year students are now entitled to the Book Bank from the library. The program was started on the fresher’s orientation program on 28th December 2021 on the eve of the silver jubilee year of the institution. The book bank scheme was inaugurated by Dr. Poppat Mahadev Bhaskar, General Manager, Quality Control Division, Evertogen Life Sciences Ltd., Jadcherla as honorable Chief Guest on fresher’s day, Sri Kishan. DSP, Mahabubnagar Division was the Guest of Honor and Circle Inspector of Police (Rural) Sri. Mahesh Kumar was the Special Guest for this programme.

Hospital

All M. Pharm students attend the hospital for, ward rounds from 2nd year. A hospital should be at least 300 bedded hospitals with all the basic amenities and adequate staff. Ward round participation is essential for the M. Pharm students to gain clinical experience, identifying Critical/Adverse drug reactions/interactions that play an important role in ward rounds. Students after visiting the hospital will collect cases from the hospital and present them in the college.

Teaching: 

The faculty is an educated body with competent trainers in the field. They take intensive personal care of each student by regulating the total intake into the program to only 60 seats. Modern methods of teaching by the PowerPoint presentations are encouraged. Nonteaching part of the faculty are very interactive, doting and helpful.

B. Pharmacy

Admissions into B. Pharm courses are through EAMCET Entrance Examination, through the Convener students should report to the college subsequently for confirmation of admission.

Management seats are filled directly by the college. Later Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHF), Palamuru University (PU) approves the same.

M. Pharmacy

Admissions into M. Pharm courses are through PGCET Entrance Examination through the convener. Students should report to the college subsequently for confirmation of admission.

D. Pharmacy

Admission Procedure requires a minimum qualification of 10+2 or it is through degree DOST admissions. (Based on intermediate merit)
