At Smt Tamma Kotamma Reddy Polytechnic (STKRP) the students are endowed with all convenient amenities that make their life 'go easy' during college hours, alongside making learning more interesting. Some of the facilities include well-ventilated classrooms, recreational areas, indoor and outdoor games, a stocked library, medical facilities, etc. This Polytechnic provides a separate hostel facility for boys and girls on campus.
The Boy's hostel accommodates nearly 400 students and the girl's hostel accommodates nearly 125 students. Preference is given for Ist year students in the hostel admissions. Strict discipline is followed in the hostel. The students are not allowed to use any electronic gadgets (i.e. cellphones, laptops, walkmans, etc.). The Hostels daily provide breakfast (with milk/coffee), lunch, and dinner. There is a separate Hostel committee for boy and girl's hostels headed by the Warden, which monitors the running of the hostel.
