Sneha Sadan Special Education College belongs to the Congregation of Carmelite Mother Maria Matha of Angamaly Province. The founders of the CMC are St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara and Fr. Léopold Boccarow. Our vision is "God is my strength and my life".Our mission is to enlighten every teacher candidate through moral, intellectual, aesthetic, and spiritual values. And our goal is vaccination in the education, training, reintegration, and integration of people with disabilities into society. 

The institution had its humble beginnings in 2002 with a special education diploma from the National Institute for the Empowerment of Persons with Multiple Disabilities (NIEPMD) and a B. Ed course in 2008 from MG University, Kottayam. Both courses are recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India, New Delhi.

Preparations are currently underway to computerize the library's cleaning processes with a software package. College Lab has desktop computers for students to use its facilities. Internet access provides students with free and unlimited access to a wide range of academic resources available on the Internet. Teachers and students are encouraged and can surf the Internet for free. 

Biometric Object: 

The Bio-Metric Attendance Tool is used in the college to allow all students and staff to record attendance. Every day, morning and evening, everyone has to signal their presence with a biometric fingerprint. The old system of college attendance is no longer sufficient to keep up with today's students. Due to the availability of information on the Internet, it is now difficult to motivate students to attend classes. For this reason, a college attendance management system must develop an approach that ensures high student participation. 

Seminars: 

International, national, and CRE seminars are held each academic year. There is an international seminar with 150 participants, a national seminar with 100 participants, and a CRE with 30 participants. Various other seminars and activities are organized within the framework of these seminars.
