Snehodaya College of Nursing is a new venture of Sacred Heart Mission Hospital Trust, which is owned and managed by the Congregation of Samaritan Sisters, the Snehodaya Province. It aims at preparing the youth as excellent nurses based on Christian and moral values. The college has got excellent infrastructure, well-established laboratories, a library, and experienced teaching faculty. Besides the parent hospital, the college is affiliated with Medical college hospital and other super specialty hospitals in and around Thrissur District. Along with academic activities, emphasis is given to the personal and professional development of students through co-curricular activities. The College is located in a serene atmosphere, which is easily approachable by train or bus. G.N.M. Course is conducted by the S.H. School of Nursing since 1981.

Library  

The college has a spacious library of 3350 sq. ft. with books on different fields of nursing and can accommodate 96 students. The library is open from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the evening. The Library has an internet connection. The staff and students are encouraged to use the Internet for easy access to information on different subjects. Books are kept in a thoroughly professional way for easy accessibility. Important journals are subscribed in the library for the latest information and knowledge of trends in the profession.  

Mess

All the students of the hostel shall be required to join the mess. A booklet on rules regarding Hostel and Mess is available at the office.

Transportation  

A college bus has been arranged for the transportation of students. Apart from this, a 7 seater vehicle has also been Arranged for office use.

Religious Activities  

Students are encouraged to avail themselves of the opportunities provided to pray realizing that it is from the Divine Physician that they draw the healing touch to be imparted in turn to their patients.  

Extra Curricular Activities  

Students are encouraged to participate in various extracurricular activities whether it is sports events or cultural events. We conduct a talent fest to find out the good talents of the college. Apart from this, students are trained properly for public speaking, etc. by giving them different topics to present before the students.
