South Point College of Pharmacy is established under the Mange Ram Educational & Charitable Trust (Regd.) with the objective of providing quality education to the next generation of pharmacists.

South Point College of Pharmacy is recognized by the Government of Haryana and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) New Delhi. It is affiliated with the Haryana State Board of Technical Education, Panchkula.

Situated in the heart of Sonipat city at a distance of about 2 km from the City Railway Station and Bus Stand, the college is well connected by public transport. It is also on the Metro route that is in the process of being constructed. The college is equipped with modern and state-of-the-art facilities.

Facilities and Infrastructure

The auditorium is a place to conduct events and meetings of the college. It is used to group the students in one place and conduct effective interaction with the staff, or the guests, who have attended meetings or workshops. So, it needs to be spacious and convenient to hold these meetings. The college is proud to own a spacious and well-equipped fully AC auditorium Located ideally in the main building, i.e. ergonomically designed with the latest audio-visual aids, ideal for lectures by Senior Executives of industry, seminars, and academic activities of the students. The auditorium is a plus of the college as it hosts programmers of academic importance as well as cultural significance in addition to competitions, a variety of entertainment, and festival celebrations. The auditorium can house an audience of up to 1000. We have the required sound system also, which can keep the students involved in the event. The superior comfort levels of our auditorium have made many events successful.

Sports play a pivotal role in shaping one’s personality and maintaining good health. In the world of competitive studies, students are forced under a lot of pressure. So the management of SPCP believes it shouldn’t get into that routine track of study system and follows a philosophy – ‘Physical fitness suppresses mental pressures’, and let all students take advantage of it perfectly. College encourages students to participate in Sports and Games giving importance to physical education as well as encouraging student’s interests. We’ve specially developed a sports environment that matches national standards and gives a truly global experience to all our students. All of which are provided to them on campus. We have volleyball courts, tennis courts, and a cricket arena. Indoor games include chess, caroms, etc. We are proud to have quite a few states-level players who have played in the Nationals.

The college has its own fleet of Buses, Vans, and Cars for the safe and secure conveyance of staff and students covering all major points of the city. The buses ensure excellent connectivity throughout Delhi, Sonipat, and nearby villages. The safety of our students is our prime concern. Thus, our transport facility is fully equipped with CCTV cameras to provide the safest the most convenient transport solution. These buses bring the students and staff to the campus in the morning before the commencement of the class work and return back after the completion of the class work.

The College provides a dispensary inside the campus for its students and staff members. The health center is manned by a medical officer and a healthcare assistant to provide excellent medical care to all the students, staff, and faculty at no cost. The students feel free to visit the dispensary at any time for medical assistance. We also have adequate stock of all important medicines, and necessary equipment required to take immediate medical care of our students, staff, and faculty. In addition, First Aid Boxes have been provided in all the Hostels and public transport.

State-of-the-art classrooms enhance the learning experience. SPCP provides some classrooms with multiple projection screens and HD Videoconferencing. Such classrooms offer movable tables and chairs for flexible seating arrangements. They have state-of-the-art audiovisual technology. There are many spaces to facilitate meetings about projects or to exchange ideas. There are several project meeting rooms that are available to students on a first-come, first-served basis. In addition to these rooms, there are also a number of collaborative workspaces in SPCP, which include video teleconferences and electronic media sharing and editing. From poster sessions to design jams to social activities, students are encouraged to make the most of what SPCP has to offer.
