The K.S.R. Polytechnic College was started in the year 1997 under “Aarthi Educational and Charitable Trust”, Which has been founded by Thiru.R. SRINIVASAN. B.B.M., MISTE., Managing Trustee, the Younger Son of Lion (Late) Dr.K.S. RANGASAMY MJFV, a Philanthropist par excellence in Tiruchengode and founder and Chairman of K.S.R.Educational Institutions. The College is Located in the village of Kuchipalayam, which is on the Erode, Tiruchengode state highway 12 Km from Erode and 8 km from Tiruchengode. The nearest Railway Station is Erode Junction and is also well connected by long-distance buses to various places.

A library endowed with books and periodicals having rich, latest, and updated information forms the backbone of any educational institute. The Central library is enriched with a sufficient quantity of technical books, journals, reference volumes, etc. that are required for learning and teaching all disciplines. The Central Library gives support to the educational & research programs of the Institute by providing physical & intellectual access to information. It consists of Reference Section, Journal Section, Reading Hall, Digital library section, Multimedia Facility, Stack- Room, etc. The library has a unique collection of encyclopedias, Handbooks, Textbooks, Journals, CDs, etc. The library uses the ‘LibMan1.1 software. The circulation system of books is based on Bar- Code.

Transport:

More than 120 buses are available for the transport of day-scholar students and staff members. Our buses ply within a 50 km radius covering Erode, Salem, Namakkal, Rasipuram, P.Velur, and Sankari. A full-fledged automobile service station is available inside the campus. All the services and repairs of the vehicles are done here.

Scholarship:

KSRPC makes necessary arrangements for getting the Backward and Adi Dravidar Scholarships, National Merit, and Teachers. Welfare Scholarships. Our Chairman, Lion Dr. K. S.Rangasamy has established a Help Fund to provide scholarships to economically weak and meritorious students. Scholarships to the tune of one lakh are distributed every year. The college helps students in getting educational loans from various. A Group Insurance Scheme has been introduced, both for the students and staff members. The insurance covers the medical expenses of accident victims.
