Sree Buddha College of Engineering is located in Alappuzha, Kerala. It was established in the year 2002 by the Sree Buddha Educational Society. The college is affiliated with the APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, Thiruvananthapuram, and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). It offers bachelor’s and master’s degrees in 6 different branches of Engineering and Technology. The Engineering College is accredited by NAAC and the programs offered are accredited by NBA. Also, it is recognized by the University Grants Commission.
Sree Buddha College of Engineering, affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, has been par excellence in technical education. The sermons of Lord Buddha gave us a lead to be the flowers of exaltation. The primary objective is to promote education and research in the field of technology and to replenish the skills that get lurked in budding technocrats. All the members of SBCE push themselves to set the institution as an example to the world. The institution is now accredited by the National Board of Accreditation for 4 Undergraduate Programmes and re-accredited with NAAC with effect from Nov 2019. Central Library:
The library is a three-storied building situated in the main campus spread over 1500 sq.m. It is fully air-conditioned. It is designed with the motive of providing educational assistance to students, faculty, and other staff members. It has a collection of books, journals, research papers, e-books, international journals, etc for reference purposes and to cater to the needs of the students.
Hostel:
Separate hostel buildings for boys and girls is provided by the college with all basic amenities. The hostels are spacious and have mess halls. Both the hostels have a carrying capacity of 300 hostelers each. Separate facilities for studying are also provided.
Canteen:
A neat and clean canteen is there on the college campus run by the college management which is spacious enough and offers a variety of snacks, refreshments, and food items to the students and staff at reasonable prices. Also, a searing facility for students and staff is provided.
Other Facilities:
Various other facilities are provided by the college such as a basketball court, gymnasium, playground, and solar power plant for eco-friendly measures.

Scholarship:
Scholarships are offered to meritorious students on a merit basis. If secured GPA of 8 or above and also, if they belong to the lower-income group, then they are eligible for the scholarship.
