Hostel:

The College provides hostel facilities for boys subject to availability. The men's hostel is a short distance from the college campus near the NDS stadium complex of the college. Men's hostel provides accommodation for nearly 120 students. The College provides hostel facilities for girls subject to availability. The women's hostel is situated on the college campus.

cooperative society:

It was registered as a cooperative society under Act XXI of 1969. The main objectives of the society are to encourage thrift and self-help among members and to purchase books, stationery, and other educational accessories required by members and associates. It also runs provision stores,  issues loans to the members, serves as a bureau of information, and publishes books written by members. The society has nearly 120 employees as members and 2000 students as associates.

Library:

The College Library is a spacious two-storey building, housed next to the Administrative Block. The library has over 70,000 books, subscriptions to both online and print periodicals and magazines, back volumes, and access to INFLIBNET and NLIST. The library caters to the staff, students, and research scholars affiliated with different departments. The library is equipped with an OPAC facility. Reprography services are provided in the Co-Operative store adjacent to the library building.

Computer Lab:

The computer lab was built in memory of the Late Prof. T K Nandakumaran, Dept of English, Sree Kerala Varma College Thrissur. The lab is equipped with 25 computers with internet connectivity. Printing, scanning, and copying facilities are available in the lab. The lab facilitates ICT-enabled teaching-learning practices. Sessions pertaining to certain papers/courses are held in the lab.

Alumni Associations:

The College has had a towering presence among all the colleges in Thrissur district as well as in the state of Kerala, ever since its inception in 1947. These 70 years have seen a host of students pass out through the gates of Sree Kerala Varma. Many of these students are now well-known and well-respected in their respective fields. Many towering figures in Kerala Politics and the Kerala Legislative Assembly, world-renowned scientists and academicians, poets, journalists, Theater and cinema personalities, industrialists, and sports personalities have all been students of this college.

Sports:

The College has Prof. N D Subramaniam Stadium facilities for playing various games like Cricket, Basketball, and Football. The very significant sporting achievements of the college have their beginning in training facilities available in this stadium.

Extra Curricular Activities:

National Service Scheme is a community service program sponsored by the Ministry of Education and Social Welfare, Govt. of India. National Service Scheme is a student–centered and community-oriented educational program. It is a noble experiment in academic extension. The NSS Symbol is embossed on the badge. The eight bars in the wheel represent the 24 hours of a day. The red color indicates that the volunteer is full of young blood that is lively, active, energetic, and full of high spirits. The navy blue color indicates the cosmos of which the NSS is a tiny part, ready to contribute its share for the welfare of mankind. With the motto ‘Not me but You’ National Service Scheme volunteers of Sree Kerala Varma College Thrissur are always socially committed. From safeguarding the environment to social service, they have become the icon of ideal citizens. This is the first unit that came into existence under Calicut University with the unit code KL01/106. Presently there are two NSS units in Sree Kerala Varma namely Unit 41 and Unit 162.

Faculty: 

Very good facilities in each and every department. Experienced tutors and lecturers. Well, qualified teaching staffs and the great quality also. But the contribution of youth in this field is quite low as compared to other colleges.
