Sree Narayana College of Teacher Education Chelannur College was established in 2001. The Teacher Training College was founded in Chelannur, Kozhikode District, and is run by Sree Narayana Trusts, Kollam, in honor of His Holiness Sree Narayana Guru, a holy social reformer and thinker who preached “liberation through education” and “strength through the organization”. The current Director of the College is Sri Vellaappally Natesan, Secretary of SN Trusts. The governing body consists of a president, a secretary, an assistant secretary, a treasurer, and 17 executive members.
