SNM Institute of Management and Technology is one of the most prestigious and oldest self-funded engineering colleges in Kerala. This institute is owned and operated by the Hindu Matha Dharma Paripalana Sabha (HMDP Sabha, Moothakunnam), which was founded in 1882 under the leadership of Sri Venkatagiri Sasthrikala, an Andri theologian who pioneered the Hindu Maha Paripalana movement.  

Motivated by the teachings of the great social reformer Sree Narayan Guru, the Sabha established a number of educational institutions. Established in 2002 at the Malankara campus, the SNM Institute of Management and Technology is the latest flagship of HMDP Sabha.SNMIMT, Malankara is definitely a great pioneer in technology and management in Kerala with its innovative approach to teaching transactions. This educational institution is housed in an impressive building of more than 700 square meters, located in the typical rural atmosphere of the fishing village of Malankara, surrounded by backwaters and the Arabian Sea to the west.  While predominantly rural, it is urban in educational and infrastructure facilities, with the serenity and serenity that surrounds a college campus, one can't help but be intrigued and awed beyond measure.  If you're lucky, you'll only be inspired to do more and motivated to put effort into developing the subject you're learning, and the experience will stay and be a part of you for life. Infrastructure and Facilities:

SNM Institute of Management and Technology has a large and well-maintained campus and offers a tranquil learning environment. The buildings are modern and equipped with the latest technology from the SNM Institute of Management and Technology, which facilitates teaching and teacher development. The classrooms, units, and laboratories of the SNM Institute of Management and Technology are spacious, comfortable, and designed to ensure the highest quality of education. The library is excellent too, with a huge range of books, online resources, and knowledgeable librarians.

Library: 

The library is located in a 4,000-square-foot lobby. A fully furnished reading room, lobby, utility room, library, internet (broadband), digital library, etc. are the main attractions. The reading room can be used by 150 people at the same time. 

The library has a collection of 12,000 books and archive volumes of periodicals. The library subscribes to several national and international journals serving all areas of engineering. It is fully automated and staff and students have access to an online public directory. Examination texts, course notes, etc. from previous years are available.

Language Laboratory: 

The language laboratory offers students the opportunity to improve their communication skills, which are a prerequisite for personality development and work in well-known companies.  Thirty students can use the language laboratory at the same time. It also offers training in group discussions, mock interviews, and developing students' soft skills. It can sharpen the student's ability to speak English.

Hostels: 

The Institute of Management and Technology of the SNM administers separate housing for boys and girls. Both hostels have large dining rooms and modern kitchens. Efficient waste disposal with biogas plants and sewage treatment plants ensures environmental protection. Vigilant guards and a tight security ensure a comfortable stay so students can focus on their studies.

Cafeteria:

SNMIMT has a large cafeteria on each of its campuses. In the canteen, the delivery of menus is very popular with students and employees. Students enjoy their meals in a clean, tidy, aesthetic, and appetizing atmosphere. Most people fondly remember the college cafeteria as one of the highlights of their lives. It's a place where they let their creativity run wild as they converse, nibble on ideas, chat and share their deeply rooted opinions and food.

The canteen has become a welcome break for students and employees and a daily meeting point after college The canteen is the center of the students. While eating, drinking, and talking, the warm atmosphere and the smell of delicious dishes remain. It remains a central place for students to rest and refresh. A varied menu for vegetarians and non-vegetarians.

Placement Cell: 

The SNMIMT Intermediate Unit is an instrument used to forge valuable relationships and collaborations between the college and the business world, thereby promoting partnerships between business and education.  In recent years, the College has built a reputation for consistent, high-quality practices and has built many successful and long-lasting relationships with its clients.
