Sree Sankaracharya University Of Sanskrit (SSUS) Kalady, Ernakulam University Grants Commission has recognized the University with 2(f) status in 1993 and 12(B) status in 2005. In 2014 September the University was accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with an A grade, the first University in Kerala to receive the honor in the first cycle of accreditation. In 2021 the University was reaccredited by NAAC with an A+ grade, maintaining the honor that the University is the first in Kerala to receive this grade. Recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC).
