Sree Siddaganga College of Pharmacy was established in the year 1983-84 and is involved in imparting quality education. It is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi, the Pharmacy Council of India & Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. Experienced and highly qualified faculty, separate hostel facility for Boys & Girls, full-fledged laboratories with practical-oriented teaching, library with national & international journals and book bank facility, internet facility with e-learning, campus selection, coaching for national level examinations for P.G. studies, assistance in overseas studies, ragging free and students friendly atmosphere are some of the salient features of our institution. Ours iS the only Pharmacy College in Karnataka that received Rs. 74 lakhs in grants from central, state, and American organizations during 2009-10. Our staff members have received the STARS award given to the best Pharmacy teacher–researcher and AICTE Young Pharmacy Teacher Award. The institute is equipped with state of an art formulation unit & animal house, which is approved by CPCSEA. The institution provides coaching in English communication, remedial coaching for academically weak candidates, special training in Pharmacy equipment handling, etc. National-level seminars are being conducted in a regular manner.
