The Sri Aurobindo Group of Institutes entered the field of education in 1988 with the Sri Aurobindo School, Bhopal, which was established to implement the ideals and values ??of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother. To further our efforts to provide the best education to our students, the promoters established Sri Aurobindo Institute of Medical Sciences in 2003, Sri Aurobindo Dental Institute in 2004, and Sri Aurobindo Institute of Technology, Sri Aurobindo Institute of Pharmacy and Sri Aurobindo Institute of Business Administration and Natural Sciences in 2009. Animal Experimentation Facility

The Central Animal Facility of the Institute in association with SAIMS Medical College is a CPCSEA (Committee for Control and Inspection of Experiments on Animals) approved facility. Animal species such as rats, mice, guinea pigs, and rabbits are kept in the facility. It is equipped with an incinerator (electric) for the disposal of biological and other biomedical waste. Advanced preclinical pharmacokinetic studies, bioavailability studies, and pharmacological screening of various drugs are conducted at the institution.
