Sri Bhagavan Mahaveer Jain College was founded in 1990. It was founded by a group of Jain Society members in VV Puram and is now known as part of Jain University which founded many colleges. However, SBMJC remains an excellent college. The university has 5 campuses spread across Bangalore and 1 campus in KGF. Jain College is one of the best PU colleges in Bangalore offering pre-college, undergraduate, and postgraduate education.
