Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Pharmacy was established in the year 1982 and is run by the Sikh Educational Society. Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Pharmacy started in the Science Block of Sri Guru Gobind Singh College Sector 26, Chandigarh and was transplanted to its new campus in 1987 where Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Pharmacy continues to thrive and bloom today.
Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Pharmacy is a well-established name in the field of technical education. It is being efficiently run by the Sikh Educational Society since 1982. It started in the Science Block of Sri Guru Gobind Singh College Sector 26, Chandigarh and was transplanted to its new campus in 1987 where it continues to thrive and bloom today. Over a span of over 40 years, it has grown to be a coveted center of professional teaching and learning today. The college is offering two courses, a diploma in pharmacy with an annual intake of 60 students and a diploma in medical lab technology with an intake of 120 students.
The college is affiliated to the Punjab State Board of technical education and industrial training and approved by the All-India Council of technical education. The diploma in pharmacy is recognized by the pharmacy council of India. The college has progressed well to become a premier pharmaceutical institute in the region over the years. An experienced and dedicated workforce of the college work very hard ensuring high professional competency in the students.
The College is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)and affiliated to Punjab State Board of Technical Education and Industrial Training, Chandigarh.
The college offers Diploma in Pharmacy [D.Pharma], Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology [DMLT].
