Infrastructure and Facilities
Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology (SRIT) has a very picturesque and serene atmosphere surrounded by green hillocks. It is located on the outskirts of the city. SRIT campus is the best mixture of culture and innovation. It spreads across 49.99 acres with a built-up area of 65,117 Sq.m. It provides a flawless learning experience to the student community and cultivates discipline among them.
Library:
Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology houses a well-equipped library for the benefit of undergraduates and postgraduates, studying engineering, technology, and management. Three libraries namely Central Library, Library Research Resource Centre, and MBA Library are available for learning, expounding, and research purposes.
Classrooms:
Smart Classrooms are technology-enhanced classrooms that foster opportunities for teaching and learning by integrating learning technology and allowing the Professor to teach using a wide variety of media. Twenty-six classrooms are smart. The Centre for Faculty Development of Anna University, Chennai conducts the ANNA EDUSAT live interactive audio-video lecture programs.
Laboratories:
Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology had agreed to set up a research lab called e-Yantra Lab (Robotics and Embedded System Lab) in association with IIT Bombay. e-Yantra is a project supported by MHRD through the National Mission on Education through ICT (NMEICT) to spread Embedded Systems and Robotics education. The project is coordinated by IIT Bombay.
Hostel:
The institution has exclusive hostels for girls and boys within the campus. Food items are prepared and served hygienically. The hostel is facilitated with a Wi-Fi facility, indoor games, gym, etc. 24 x 7 ambulance service is available for the needy apart from a dispensary which functions during the evening.
The College has 12 buses for Conveyance. The buses ply to several destinations located on the outskirts of the city. Two buses fly from the college to Perur town twice in the evening.
Sports and Games:
The college has planned a playground facility for all outdoor games as well as indoor games. Our students have also been doing extremely well in various inter-college competitions conducted by other Colleges and Universities.

Candidates applying for first-year B.E./ B.Tech. programs should have completed the Higher Secondary Examination with at least a 45% average in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry for the General Category, and 40% for BC, MBC, DNC, and SC/ ST categories.
