Recognization & Accreditations

The institution holds affiliations with Anna University and approvals from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). It takes pride in its recertification as an ISO 9001:2015 Certified institution and has earned an esteemed "A+" grade accreditation with a CGPA of 3.30 from the Executive Committee of NAAC. Notably, five departments (CSE, MECH, IT, EEE, ECE) have secured accreditation for three years by the NBA Expert Team, showcasing its commitment to academic excellence. Furthermore, it has achieved a commendable ranking within the 150 to 200 range in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) for the year 2018-2019, as designated by the Ministry of Human Resource and Developments, Govt., of India. Initially starting with four departments (EEE, ECE, IT, CSE), the institution has experienced remarkable growth, now offering eight Undergraduate Engineering Programs, two Postgraduate Programs, and one Postgraduate Management Program.

  • As per law, Universities do not require AICTE approval. Only institutions which are affiliated to Universities require approval.   • The National Assessment and Accreditation Council is a government organization in India that assesses and accredits Higher Education Institutions. It is an autonomous body funded by the University Grants Commission and headquartered in Bangalore.

  • The National Board of Accreditation (NBA) is one of the two major bodies responsible for accreditation of higher education institutions in India, along with the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). NBA accredits technical programmes, such engineering and management programmes, while NAAC accredits general colleges and universities. NBA is a full member of the Washington Accord.

  • The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) is a methodology adopted by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, to rank institutions of higher education in India.
