ADMISSION NORMS

Admission is done as per State Government norms.

Admission to various courses is based strictly on merit.

The fee structure and assistance schemes ensure that the economic status of the students does not become an inhibiting factor to pursue the program of study.

* Candidates are advised to apply in the separate prescribed application forms for UG and PG programs.

UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMMES

Application for admission shall be made in the prescribed form. The form can be obtained from the College Office or downloaded from the given link. Separate applications shall be made for each course.

B.E/B. The tech degree course will be completed over 4 years consisting of 8 semesters.

UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMMES (LATERAL ENTRY)

Candidates who have passed the Diploma in Engineering awarded by the State Board of Technical Education or Equivalent after undergoing a regular course of three years of study in an approved institution are eligible for admission.

B.E/B. Tech degree courses will be completed over 3 years consisting of 6 semesters.

Application for admission shall be made in the prescribed form. The form can be obtained from the College Office or downloaded from the given link. Separate applications shall be made for each course.

SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION

1. Passport Size Photos (2 Copies)
2. Photocopy of the SSLC Mark sheet
3. Photocopy of the Polytechnic TC
4. Photocopy of the 5th & 6th Semester Mark sheets [Revaluation Mark sheet (if any)]
5. Photocopy of the Community Certificate
6. First Graduation Certificate (if any)
7. Photocopy of the Provisional Certificate
8. Photocopy of the Conduct Certificate

POST-GRADUATE PROGRAMMES

Application for admission shall be made in the prescribed form. The form can be obtained from the College Office or downloaded from the given link. Separate applications shall be made for each course.

M.E/M. Tech degree courses will be completed over 2 years consisting of 4 semesters.

SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION

1. Passport Size Photos (2 Copies)
2. Photocopy of the SSLC Mark sheet
3. Photocopy of the +2 Mark sheet
4. Photocopy of the Semester (not consolidated) Mark statements of the Degree Programme
5. Photocopy of the Community Certificate
6. Photocopy of the Provisional Certificate
7. Photocopy of the Conduct Certificate
8. All admissions made are subject to verification of the Mark Statements by the Director of Government Examination and if the Mark Statement is found to be bogus, the admission is liable to be canceled and criminal action would be taken against the concerned candidate.
9. CERTIFICATES TO BE PRODUCED AT THE TIME OF ADMISSION
10. 10th & 12th standard mark statements. (Original and Photocopies)
11. Transfer Certificate. (Original and Photocopy)
12. Conduct Certificate from the Head of the Institution last studied (Original)
13. Community Certificate (Original) if the selection is based on Community Quota (not applicable for Open Competition selection)
14. NCC/NSS Certificate in the prescribed form
15. 2 stamp-size photos
16. Eligibility certificate from the Recognized University for Candidates who passed qualifying examination other than the +2 examination of Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary / CBSE.
17. Degree Marks Statements (Semester wise original)
18. Provision certificate from the concerned university in case of PG admission/Lateral Entry
19. Diploma 5th & 6th Semester mark statements in case of Lateral Entry (Original and Photocopies)
