The Sri Venkateswara University (SV University) offers 72 undergraduate and postgraduate courses and several diploma and certificate programmes in the fields of Humanities & Social Sciences, Law, Science, Engineering, Accounting & Commerce, Information Technology & Software, and Management Studies. There are five colleges at SV University, namely the College of Arts, Science, Commerce, Management & Computer Science, Pharmaceutical Sciences, and Engineering. The SV University conducts Common Entrance Tests (SV University CET) for some PG courses and RECET for research programmes. Additionally, SV University Tirupati offers bachelor's and master's degree programs through its Directorate of Distance Education (DDE).
Directorate of Admissions (DOA) administers the admissions into all PG courses and Research programs. It conducts SVUCET for admission into MA, M.Com., M.Sc., and MS Courses offered by the University and affiliated Colleges of Sri Venkateswara University.
The candidates seeking admission in the B.Tech. program need to go through an entrance test, known as EAMCET. RECET examination conducted by the DOA. All the application processes are conducted online.
