Campus:

Sri Ram Chandra Bhanja Medical College and Hospital, Cuttack, boasts a sprawling and well-maintained campus, creating a serene learning environment. Established in 2001 in collaboration with ISRO and Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow, Telemedicine Services play a crucial role in providing distant medical education, teleconsultation for critically ill patients, follow-up treatment, and Telemedical video conferences. The center is connected with all District Headquarters Hospitals and other Medical College Hospitals, contributing significantly to the virtual training of doctors, especially in the management of COVID patients.

Hospital Beds:

The hospital at Sri Ram Chandra Bhanja Medical College has seen a gradual increase in bed strength over the years to meet the growing needs of the community. The hospital currently boasts a substantial bed strength of 2132 beds, emphasizing its commitment to providing comprehensive healthcare services.

Facilities for Physically Challenged Students:

The institution ensures inclusivity by providing facilities for physically challenged students. Ramps and lifts are installed in most buildings for easy accessibility. Physically challenged students receive walking aids, wheelchairs, and any necessary assistance. Current & Proposed Infrastructure:

Under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Srijukta Naveen Patnaik, SCB Medical College is undergoing a massive redevelopment program. The ambitious project aims to transform the institution into a world-class health facility with 3000 beds in the first phase and a target of 5000 beds upon completion. This redevelopment showcases a commitment to providing cutting-edge healthcare infrastructure.
