(Permanently) Affiliated with JNTU Ananthapuramu, the institute has been approved by AICTE New Delhi and has an enviable record of producing Engineering graduates who have achieved success in their chosen fields of endeavours. All this (is) in just 12 years. Situated on the outskirts of Rotarypuram Village, B.K.Samudram Mandal Dans le district d'Ananthapuramu, (et) est le fruit de Sri Aluru Sambasiva Reddy. While he was a professor in the field of engineering, he realised that Ananthapuramu lacked a quality technical institute which was aimed at students from rural areas and those from social classes in economic difficulty. Hence, he started a non-profit organisation which has focuses on imparting the best technical education to these students.

Admission 2024-25

Srinivasa Ramanujan Institute of Technology, commonly known as SRIT, offers a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate programs, including BE/B.Tech and M.E./M.Tech in the field of engineering. Prospective students applying for SRIT admissions must first take the relevant entrance examination, such as AP EAMCET, GATE, AP PGECET, or an equivalent exam. Admission to SRIT is based on the candidates' performance in these entrance exams. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can apply for their preferred course at SRIT.

Residential Accommodation:

Separate boys' and girls' hostels with high security are available on the university campus. Boys and girls have two hostels with WiFi services for UG and PG, which can accommodate around 150 students each with good infrastructure. A well-equipped gym is established so that the students of the inn develop the physical ability of boys and girls. They also have indoor play facilities. A hygienic mess is attached to hostels. Library

The main aim of the Library is to provide the necessary support for the teaching, learning, and research activities of the Institute by creating state-of-the-art facilities and offering innovative services to the university community. The library manages knowledge, both in paper and digital form. Knowledge resources play a key role in the growth of any educational institution. The library consists of a collection of 51,477 volumes, and 36+ Nationals & International reviews/reviews as of August 2018. The digital library consists of 12 computer systems to access magazines, e-books, e-learning, etc.

Canteen:

It provides good quality fresh Snacks, cool drinks, coffee, tea, and other food items in a hygienic, healthy way which suits the pockets of the student. It is speckless and maintained very well.

Sports and Game

Sport is an integral part of the curriculum. Various sports facility is provided to the students within the campus. The college is committed to creating a balanced atmosphere of academic, cultural and sports activities for the overall personality development of its students. Various sports competitions such as inter-departmental, Inter collegiate, Inter University, etc help in developing team spirit in students. Sports and games help the students to improve their interpersonal relationships healthily. Talented students are honoured with medals, trophies and certificates.

Transport

The institution runs 29 buses covering all the important points in Anantapur City, Tadipatri, Dharmavaram & Paamidi towns with a total seating capacity of 4000 students in two shifts.
