Shri Ramswaroop Agarwal Ji is the inspiration behind the establishment of Shri Ramswaroop Memorial College of Engineering & Management, Lucknow.
The SRMCEM earned this distinction for its values-based institutional culture. Emphasizing in-depth knowledge and improving employability go hand in hand at SRMCEM. Various student development programs, employability enhancement areas; training via LABVIEW from National Instruments, USA, and performance monitoring of students through Oracle's PeopleSoft modules allow SRMCEM to stand out in the delivery of professional training. Residential Accommodation
Separate boys' and girls' hostels with high security are available on the university campus. Boys and girls have two hostels with WiFi services for UG and PG, which can accommodate about 450 students each with good infrastructure. A college van and car are always available to meet the needs of emerging customers. A well-equipped gymnasium is set up for the students of the hostel to develop the physical abilities of boys and girls. They also have indoor play facilities. The rooms are spacious and airy. Library
The Treasury Library of Books and Periodicals is the center of intellectual activity for each institution. The Central Library works for its readers with a concern for creativity and innovation, predecessors of Research and Development. The general library of our college was established in 2000. It has a well-equipped library that accumulates over 45,024 volumes of selected books in various engineering, management, and basic and general science subjects. The library subscribes to over 143 printed periodicals. Audiovisual educational programs and video lessons often take place in the library.
Medical Services and Health Center
The SRMCEM has its own dispensary with a doctor at home. The dispensary is equipped with a 24-hour ambulance. A free medical visit is carried out every two weeks. Students are insured by the AKTU police.
Canteen
Girls' and boys' hostels at SRMGPC have separate dining facilities. Each mess is spacious with appropriate dining furniture. All hostels have their own independent student canteen committee. The canteen committee decides on the menu and revises it from time to time according to the seasons and tastes. The quality of the food is also controlled by the canteen committee. That is to say that it is the students who decide on the menu according to which the meals are prepared and served. The canteen staff pay attention to cleanliness and ensure that food is prepared and served in a hygienic manner.
Transport
The college bus service is well in place for all major routes of Lucknow. The maximum travel time on each route is between 35 and 50 minutes. Besides bus service for students, faculty, and staff, vehicles are also provided to the students participating in various college activities within the city. There is also a bus service for excursions and industrial tours.
Computer center
SRMCEM has a well-equipped computer center. The entire campus is connected via LAN, including the library and hostels. 24/7 Internet connectivity is available with data transfer rates of 200 Mbps. Online UPS are installed for an uninterrupted diet in each laboratory.
Shri Ramswaroop Memorial College of Engineering & Management, Lucknow accepts admission through various entrance examinations such as CAT/MAT.
The Placement Steering Committee provides necessary guidance and support to the Placement Cell. Students actively participate in the placement activities of the college and get top-notch placements.
The Placement Cell has the patronage of the college management and the college advisory body which hails from institutions like IITs, IIMs, and universities of high repute along with various multinationals.
