SRMS Trust has been fortunate to have received great assistance from the Trustees and friends who have come to the rescue and established numerous awards and medals to motivate our students.

The late Shri Ram Murti ji was an motivation for students, particularly those with merit but are economically weak. Thus, the Trust was able to provide assistance for economically weak, but worthy students right from its beginning. At first, the assistance was limited to undergraduate and 10+2 college students (1990). Then, the scholarships were extended to students who are enrolled in technical, professional and medical programs in institutions operated through the Trust. The year 2007 marked the pivotal year when the Trust was able to offer scholarships of RUPES 3.5 annually to students who have merit in institutions operated under the Trust.

The Engineering/Management institute has laid down the following criteria for the scholarship in different categories :

Students who have secured 86 at or higher marks on the Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University Examination Rs. equivalent to the percentage of marks achieved (Minimum of Rs. 86000/-)

Students who score at least 85% points but with less than 86 percent in the Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University Examination Rs. 35,000 /-

Students who score at least 80% marks but with less than 85% marks in the Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University Examination Rs. 30,000 /-

Students who score 75% or higher marks but less than 80% the Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University Examination Rs. 20,000 /-
