In the tribal district of Surguja Chattisgarh state Shri Sai Baba Aadarsh Mahavidyalaya was established on 15th August 2003 at Ambikapur, with an approach to create an outstanding status in the education standard by providing the best possible higher education. The college is recognized by the Directorate Higher Education Chattisgarh Government(College Code 3432) and permanently affiliated to Sant Gahira Guru Vishwavidyalaya (Formerly Sarguja University College Code 007) Ambikapur Sarguja.
Shri Sai Baba Aadarsh Mahavidyalaya was established on 15 August 2003 at Ambikapur in the Surguja Tribal Area of Chattisgarh State with the aim of establishing an excellent position in the educational level by providing the best possible higher education. The college is recognized by the Government of Chattisgarh (College Code 3432) and permanently affiliated to Sant Gahira Guru Vishwavidyalaya (Formerly Sarguja University College Code 007) Ambikapur Sarguja.
Shri Sai Baba Aadarsh Mahavidyalaya (SSBAM) Surguja is affiliated with Sant Gahira Guru Vishwavidyalaya (formerly Sarguja University). The college is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
Shri Sai Baba Aadarsh Mahavidyalaya (SSBAM) Surguja's programs are available at different levels, like Undergraduate Degrees i.e. Bachelor of Arts (BA) English Literature, Bachelor of Science (B.Sc. Library
Sai Baba Aadarsh Mahavidyalya Library is the soul of the institution and collects, processes, stores and distributes information to the user base with the motto of knowledge empowerment. It has a wide range of books and resource materials to meet the academic and research needs of students and faculty. The library and information center consists of a reference section, a circulation section and a periodical. The library has automated all its library operations to provide efficient and comprehensive academic resources such as books, journals and online databases.
Seminar hall
The hall is fully equipped with state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment that offers services such as video conferencing, sound system and audio-visual materials. The purpose of the auditorium is to improve the quality of teaching. To make this possible, the auditorium has the necessary facilities to hold lectures, such as LCD projectors, screens, blackboards. It also provides many opportunities for our staff and students to showcase their talents in cultural activities.
Laboratory
The college is well equipped with various physics, chemistry, biology and educational technology laboratories for students to use. Catering to hostel residents and day explorers is provided through food safety and quality assurance.
Multipurpose hall
A multipurpose hall, also known as a ballroom, is a space that is well equipped to host various events or activities. As the name suggests, it can be used at almost all of our university events. Whether it's a quick meeting of elected leaders or a high-level international conference, the multipurpose room is the perfect place for productive brainstorming. It is an ideal space for a large group of executives and is also a space for networking and development. Catering for boarders and day students is guaranteed in terms of food safety and quality.
Hostel
A hostel is cheap short-term shared accommodation where guests can rent a bed, usually a bunk bed in a dormitory, with a shared living room and sometimes a kitchen.
