The Sudha Sureshbhai Maniar College of Computer and Management is affiliated to R.T. M. Nagpur University and was started in 2008”. It is run by Shri. Nagpur Gujarati Mandal, which is a linguistic minority charitable organization. The spacious 17000 sq. ft impressive building and beautiful premises have modern computer and electronic labs and a good library. A Junior College was added in 2016 - 2017.

Over the years, the college has registered a hundredfold growth - from 12 students in 2008 to nearly 1546 in 2022 - 2023. Timely completion of courses, good staff, quick action on students’ feedback plus plenty of activities viz. CAMPUS BUILDING

The college spreads over 1579 square ft. The office comprises the Director's chamber, Principal’s cabin, working facilities for non-teaching staff, with 6 PCs, 5 printers, two scanners, LAN,  2 telephones, intercom 4 nos., plenty of storage space, and a refrigerator. There are 3 water coolers, 2  water filters (RO),   a canteen, a store room, a reprography facility, CCTV cameras (48), 9 toilets (five gents, 4 ladies), and one store room.

CLASSROOMS

There are 18 spacious, well-ventilated classrooms, 5 televisions, 4 projectors, with Broadband  (BSNL) 20 MBPS,  WiFi (4 routers) on ground, 1st and 2nd floor, Speakers, mikes and amplifiers (2 each).

COMPUTER LAB

There are two spacious computer laboratories with 51 computers, with broadband Internet facility and LAN for all computers. The first and second floors of the college are WiFi-enabled.

ELECTRONICS LAB

The electronics laboratory has a facility for students to make their kits, where practical training is a joy for those who like to work with their own hands.

ENGLISH LANGUAGE LAB

The college has a modern Language Laboratory with audio-visual equipment to aid in imparting language skills. The Laboratory is effectively utilized by students and faculty members for various self-enhancement and soft skill development activities. There are 20 headphones for students to use.

LABORATORY (DIGITAL, PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY, & BIOLOGY)

The college has separate laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology for Junior College. The digital laboratory has a facility for 5 users (1 P.C. and 4 thin clients) and is used by students for online access for filling forms for competitive examinations.

LIBRARY

The spacious library houses a diverse collection of books and is WiFi-enabled. It caters to the needs of undergraduate and postgraduate students and faculty. The library access is through OPAC and remains open from morning till evening on all working days. There are 2332 books in the library. Of these, 1278 are for Commerce, 771 for Science, and 283 are General books. Besides, there are Newspapers, weeklies, magazines, and journals.

READING ROOM

The college maintains a Reading Room with newspapers and weekly, fortnightly, and monthly magazines. There is a cupboard for the display of ‘New Arrivals”.

SPORTS

Sports enable students to be physically fit and develop a healthy attitude of sportsmanship. The college offers assistance for diverse indoor and outdoor sports like Cricket, Karate, Boxing, Kabaddi, Badminton, Chess, Carrom, etc. We do not have our playground, but students have access to practice and play in the two adjacent government playgrounds.
