Admission

Shortlisting of candidates is done based on the entrance test scores and academic track record. The selection process consists of a group discussion and personal interview in addition to a test on reading comprehension. Admission is done in multiple phases to coincide with the announcement of the results of the various entrance tests. An applicant can apply to the program with an admission test score and can update the same application form with any number of admission tests (held after the submission of the online form) to improve the chances of getting invited to the selection process.

Scholarships

The unique feature of SSN Institutions is the scholarships awarded to students. SSN offers attractive scholarships to encourage merit and to make education accessible to students of all economic strata. The Institution has initiated a thriving tradition of offering over 600 scholarships every year to meritorious and deserving students. Scholarships worth Rs 4.87 crores were recently distributed to 579 students of SSN Institutions, based on academic performance, sports achievement, and economic needs. All scholarships include a waiver of tuition fees, free hostel stay and boarding/ grant towards living expenses, and an allowance for books.

Internships:

These are meant to provide industry exposure to students. The first is an 8-week summer internship between their first year and second year followed by a longer 12-week project internship in the final semester. SSN has consistently been a destination of choice for leading firms that offer internships. Students take up internships in a variety of sectors – Manufacturing, FMCG, Analytics, IT, and Government Institutions. Such industrial exposure provides students with adequate exposure to tackling real-life problems encountered in the workings of an organization. The companies also gain from the fresh perspective and input of the students.
