In the time of Industrialization and fast mechanical development, Sanstha chose to begin Engineering College and Polytechnic in the year 1983. Sanstha got the consent to begin College of Engineering in July 1983 vide letter No.10/TO/1083-35362 dated 08/07/1983 under the direction of Hon. Central Library-

The institute has one of the best libraries in this region, with more than 35000 books, and has subscribed to more than 70 national journals and 19 international journals. It has almost all I.S. codes and also has a video library with more than 300 video cassettes. This is open access library. The spacious reading room accommodates 150 students. The round-the-clock open reading hall has an uninterrupted electric supply. The aesthetic environment attracts many students and hence institute is planning to increase the reading hall capacity. Copier felicitates students to get photocopies at nominal rates.

Computer Centre:

The computer Centre has an internet facility provided through a leased line connection. It provides internet access for all the students. Wi-Fi internet connectivity is also available throughout the campus.

Workshop:

The students have access to a wide range of machine tools. The workshop includes conventional labs like carpentry, Foundry, Fabrication, Metal working, and Machining. The workshop also has the latest machine tools such as HMT radial drilling machine, HMT lathes, HMT milling machine, CNC trainer lathe, and CNC trainer milling machine. The objective this latest machine is to reduce the retraining period of students in the industries.

Hostel-
