St. Albert's College, Ernakulam Admission is open for all UG and PG courses for the academic session 2024-25. The application fees depend on the program in which program you want to be admitted. Admission Process SAC, Ernakulam
• The institute offers B.Sc., B.Com, BBA, BBM, B.Voc, and BA courses at the UG level and MBA, MA, M.S.W, M.Sc., and M.Com at the PG level.
• For both UG and PG courses, St. Albert's College provides application forms through online mode only.
• Minimum eligibility for UG course is passing at HSC examination or equivalent
• The minimum eligibility for PG courses is a bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline.
• Admission to both the UG and PG courses is based on the merit list of the qualifying exam.
• Admission to M.S.W and M.Sc. (Space Technology) is based on entrance test.
• In aided courses, 80% of seats are classified as merit seats (General Quota seats and Seats earmarked for Latin Community, SC/ST candidates), and the remaining 20% are Management seats.
• In self-finance courses, 50% of seats are for General Merit and the rest 50% are for Management quota.

BA, B.Com and B.Voc Courses Admission SAC, Ernakulam
• St.Albert's College offers three-year B.Sc., B.Com, and BA courses in various disciplines. The institute also offers evening courses which are self-financed.
• Minimum eligibility for admission to any course is passed at the HSC level along with the concerned subject of admission. Apply for UG Courses
• Selection of the UG courses is done based on the merit of the qualifying examination.
• The merit list is prepared by considering marks obtained in the qualifying examination plus twice the marks obtained in the subject concerned (in which applying for admission) examination plus bonus marks if any.
• An additional 50 marks are given if the concerned subject is taken as an option in the HSC examination.
Key Points to remember for B.Sc., B.Com, and BA Admission:
• Candidates who have made more than one attempt to pass the qualifying exam will face a deduction of 5 marks for each attempt, subject to a maximum of twenty marks.
• The bonus of 15 marks shall be awarded to Ex-Servicemen/ their dependents/ Widows and also to applicants with NCC or NSS Certificates at the ‘Plus Two level’.
• 5% relaxation is given to SC/ ST/ PD candidates in the qualifying exam criteria.
B.Sc. Courses Admission SAC, Ernakulam
• St. Albert's College offers B.Sc. courses in seven specializations. Two B.Sc. courses are offered as evening courses, these courses are self-financed.
• Candidates applying must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with the concerned subject in which the candidate is seeking admission.
• Selection is based on the merit list of the qualifying examination.
• The merit list is prepared by considering total marks obtained in Part III of the qualifying examination less handicap marks plus marks obtained for the particular subject concerned for which admission is sought plus bonus marks, if any.
Key Points to remember for B.Sc. Admission:
• Those candidates who make more than one attempt to pass the qualifying exam will face a deduction of 5 marks for each attempt, subject to a maximum of twenty marks.
• Ex-servicemen/ their dependents/ widows and also applicants with NCC or NSS Certificates at HSC will be given a bonus of 15 marks.

BBA and BBM Courses Admission SAC, Ernakulam
• St. Albert's College offers BBA and BBM as Management courses. Both of these courses are self-financed courses and are offered in evening batches from 1.45 p.m. to 7.00 p.m.
• Candidates applying shall be required to have passed the HSC or equivalent examination recognized as equivalent thereto by Mahatma Gandhi University. Apply for UG Courses
• Selection of these management courses is based on the performance of candidates in the qualifying exam.
Key Points to remember for BBA & BBM Admission:
• A deduction of five marks for each attempt will be done who have taken more than one attempt to pass the qualifying exam.
The bonus of 15 marks shall be awarded to Ex-servicemen/ their dependents/ widows and also to applicants with NCC or NSS Certificates at the ‘Plus Two level’.
• A relaxation of 5% in the qualifying exam is given to reserved category candidates.
M.Com and MBA courses Admission SAC, Ernakulam
• St. Albert's College offers MBA and M.Com courses as Management and Commerce courses at the Postgraduate level. The MBA course is a self-financed (SF) course.
• Candidates applying should have passed at least a three-year Degree Examination with one core/main subject and two complementary/subsidiary subjects from a recognized university. Apply for PG Courses
• Candidates applying should have scored at least 50% marks or a CGPA of 2 out of 4 or 5 out of 10 (in the CBCSS system).
• Selection for each PG course is based on the qualifying exam performance of the candidate.
Key Points to remember for MBA & M.Com Admission:
• For M.Sc. courses, MBBS or B. Tech graduates can also apply.
• A bonus of five marks will be awarded to NCC and NSS candidates for admission to all programs.
• Also, a bonus of 15 marks shall be awarded to ex-servicemen, Dependents, and Widows of Jawan/ ex-servicemen.
• Negative or handicap marks of 5 will be deducted from the total rank marks for each additional attempt that the candidate will take to complete the qualifying examination.
MA, MSW, and M.Sc. Admission SAC, Ernakulam
• At the Postgraduate level, the College offers MA courses in two disciplines and M.Sc. courses in seven disciplines. The institute also offers a Master of Social Work course.
• To be eligible for admission, candidates should have passed at least a three-year Degree Examination with one core/main subject and two complementary/subsidiary subjects from any recognized university.
• Candidates applying should have scored at least 45% marks or a CGPA of 1.80 out of 4 (in core and complementary subjects) and 2 out of 4 for common courses.
• Selection for each PG course is based on the qualifying exam performance of the candidate. Apply for PG Courses
• Selection for M.Sc. (Space Technology) and M.S.W courses is done based on an entrance exam, group discussion, and interview.
• The entrance exam consists of objective-type questions on Verbal Ability, Reasoning Ability, and General Knowledge. The maximum mark allotted to the objective-type test is 100.
• The final merit list of M.Sc. (Space Technology) and M.S.W has 50% weightage from the Graduation Result + 30% from the Entrance Exam + 10% from GD + 10% from the Interview.
