The St.Ann’s School of Nursing was established in 1974 by the Sisters of St. Ann (Luzern) . Nursing College takes rightful pride in having a record of cent percent results with DISTINCTIONS and FIRST CLASS in almost all the academic years. So far, both schools and colleges have educated and trained about 1234 dedicated and competent young women, to take up the first-level leadership positions in various leading hospitals both in India and abroad. Sacred Heart Hospital is a general hospital with some 250 licensed beds, bays, and treatment spaces. The campus is located within 1 km of Tuticorin's old bus stand. The hospital accommodates a specialist medical center as well as pharmacy and diagnostic services.

Playground:

With a firm belief that physical fitness leads to mental fitness, our college provides excellent playground facilities for our students. The College conducts Sports Meet and encourages students to participate in Inter-Collegiate events. Our sports staff are very professional and they guide our students very well.

Classroom:

The classrooms are very spacious. It is airy and well-ventilated. It has 4 ceiling fans in it which are sufficient for all the students sitting inside the room. The classroom in the college retained its heritage look with vintage teak furniture.

Auditorium:

The Auditorium is a place to direct events and meetings of the college. It is utilized to bunch the students at one place, and direct powerful cooperation with the staff, or the guests, who have gone to for meetings or workshops. In this way, it should be roomy and helpful to hold these meetings, and we have incorporated these structure components into our auditorium. The auditorium of our college is very extensive, and it can situate many students. 

Library:

Attached to the main academic block, the library is Wi-Fi enabled unit with a seating capacity for about 150 readers. Well–stocked and presently has a collection of over 6000 volumes on different subjects. latest publications are continuously added to the collection, to equip students with a wide range of academics.

Clubs:

Through our club Activities, we provide training and guidance to the students on the various aspects of building a career and to assist them in exploring new opportunities. We invite superior hospital management for campus interviews and provide them with the necessary facilities for conducting the written test, Group Discussion, Technical, and In-person Interviews. We also arrange a hospital visit and training for the students.

Students who have passed 10+2 (Science stream- with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology subjects) from a recognized board are eligible to pursue this course. Minimum aggregate marks criteria may exist (in the case of some institutes).
