St Anthony's College is an educational institution of the Catholic Church owned and administered by the Salesians of the Educational Society of Don Bosco (registered under the Charter of Incorporation of 1890: No. 227/91 of 199). St. Anthony's College, Shillong is affiliated with North Eastern Hill University. From its humble beginnings in 1934, it has grown into a multi-faceted and multi-faculty institution. MAMMA MARGARET HALL is a hostel for the girl students of St. Anthony's College, Shillong, an educational institution of the Catholic Church, belonging to and managed by the Salesians of Don Bosco Educational Society which is registered under the Societies Registration Act of 1860 (No: SR/SAC-227/91 of 1991).

The college has a language laboratory equipped with audiovisual equipment that supports students in the field of language and communication skills. Its main goal is to give students the confidence to use English effectively in public spaces. In addition to the traditional teaching and learning environment, the language lab offers computer-based interactions and classroom activities to improve language and communication skills. Students are encouraged to actively participate in the language learning process, using the tools provided by Language Lab to improve their language skills through a variety of course materials.
