As of 2013, St. Edmund College has three hostels namely Brother O'Leary Residence (also known as B.T. Hostel); Bro. J. N. Foley Student Residence (formerly New Hostel) and Girls Hostel.The Bro. The O'Leary Residence was founded in 1937 by Rev. Bro. J. I. O'Leary of the Congregation of the Irish Christian Brothers of St. For extended accommodation for students enrolled in Bachelor of Teaching (B.T.) courses at Edmund College. After about 14 years, the hostel has undergone a qualitative change to support the changing needs of the students. It was changed in 1951 to St. As a place of study for Edmund College students. Since its inception, the academic environment of the hostel has been maintained and strengthened by the hostel administrators, especially Dr. B Dutta Ray, who was the Hostel. superintendent for many years since opening the hostel for undergraduate students. Bro. J. N. Foley Student Residence was built in 1957 and the first set of hostel students was admitted in 1958. There are apartments for about 50 people. The hostel offers a favorable environment for studying. In 1998, the inn was consecrated as a sign of respect and in memory of Bro. J. Former Principal of N Foley College, when the hostel was opened. The headmaster of the hostel was supported in taking care of his students by the responsible principals: Rev. Brothers E. X. Leonard, J . N. Foley, R. B. Vieyra, M. G. Shannon, and W. D'Souza, A.F. Pinto, E.V. Miranda Juba L.D. to hunt.
Library:The library at the college has a collection of more than 25000 books which comprises general reference, course books, and leisure reading. The library has subscriptions to 48 international and national journals, 28 magazines, and 9 newspapers.
Canteens:The College has a canteen and a Coffee Shop. The College canteens have a total seating capacity of 100 students at any one period of time. The canteens are open from 8.30 am to 5.00 pm. Students are encouraged to spend their free time in the College Library while making adequate use of the canteen facility for social interaction.
Indoor Gymnasium:St. Edmund’s College has a well-equipped indoor gymnasium to encourage students to build their physical and mental health. The Gymnasium has a specialized trainer to provide guidance to the trainees.
Audio/ Visual Room:Keeping up with modern technology, St. Edmund’s College provides its teachers and students with modern techniques for imparting knowledge to the students. The AudioVisual Rooms are spacious and have projectors (overhead and LCD) that provide added and better means of teaching and learning for the students. St. Edmund’s College provides all its lecture rooms with LCD projectors which are used for the PowerPoint presentation by teachers.
St. Edmund’s College has a dedicated Career Guidance and counseling cell. There are two members of the Teaching Staff who coordinate the activities of this cell. The purpose of this cell has been to keep in touch with various companies seeking campus interviews and they facilitate their interaction with the students. The center also organizes regular career guidance seminars. Many agencies come to the College to recruit candidates for various positions. The College provides the logistics for such recruitment and students are the beneficiary through its Placement and Counseling Cell.
St. Edmund College offers various scholarships to deserving and needy students. Students may apply for various types of Scholarships to the Government / Agency, etc., through the college.
