St. Francis Institute of Technology (SFIT) provides various scholarship opportunities to students through different departments of the state government:
Social Justice and Special Assistance Department: This department offers scholarships to SC students with an annual family income of less than INR 2 lakhs. Eligible students need to submit an income certificate provided by the Tahesildar.
Tribal Development Department: Scholarships are available for ST students with an annual family income below INR 2.5 lakhs. To qualify for the scholarship, students must present an income certificate issued by the Tahsildar.
Directorate of Technical Education: Under the "Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Shikshan Shulkh Shishyavrutti Yojna," scholarships are provided to open or general category candidates whose annual family income is less than INR 8 lakhs.
VJ, NT, OBC, and SBC Welfare Department: Students with an annual family income equal to or less than INR 1 lakh can avail of this scholarship by submitting an income certificate provided by the Tahesildar.
Minority Development Department: Candidates from minority communities (Muslim, Buddhist, Christian, Sikh, Parsi, Jain, and Jewish) with an annual family income not exceeding INR 6 lakhs are eligible for this scholarship upon presenting an income certificate issued by the Tahsildar.
