St.James College of Nursing was established in the year 2002, as the silver jubilee memorial of the Diocese of Irinjalakuda and the Episcopal ordination of its 1st Bishop Mar James Pazhayattil. The college is affiliated with the Kerala University of Health and Allied Sciences since 2010 admission. It has the recognition and sanction of the Kerala State Nursing Council and Indian Nursing Council.
