St Joseph's Training College is a premier teacher training college and a fertile ground for the professional development of prospective teachers through the zealous pursuit of academic excellence. Inspired by Blessed Kuriakose Elias Chavar, founder of the Carmelites of the Immaculate Conception, who championed the cause of the poor and marginalized, the Josephine Community strives to transform and develop society towards the liberating values behind which stood Jesus the Guru. 

The college was founded in 1957 as an institution for the Christian minority and trains teachers for secondary schools. The college has a sprawling campus, covering 12 acres and 57 cents of land, with ample facilities and resources for a variety of educational programs, administrative functions, and advisory services. The institute has spacious classrooms, fully equipped scientific, technological, psychological, and computer laboratories, a biology museum, a guidance and counseling center, a seminar room, an auditorium, a well-organized library, restrooms, a research advisory center, internships, and a classroom to meet the requirements of the master's degree in education. Computer LAB: 

Since 1988, the college has taken the initiative to spread the introduction of computers to this village. Bed.Computer lab students with internet and all associated support systems required for a fully equipped and modern data center. The computer lab offers training programs on data analysis using the SPSS software package. 

Language lab: 

To ensure the overall competency of our students, the college has set up a digital language laboratory to help our students develop and improve their communication skills in English. This is done with the Orell Digital Language Lab (ODLL) software. The laboratory is equipped with 15 computers. There is also an internet connection in the laboratory. The language laboratory enables individual and collective learning under the guidance of a lecturer. Opportunities for spontaneous and targeted communication in the target language are offered in the lab. For this purpose, authentic audiovisual material in digital form is used. Internet resources are also used for language learning in language practice.

Gymnasium:

Guided by the college's concern for the health and fitness of our students and teachers, the college has an atlas with all the necessary equipment. The gym is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment such as bench press, bicep leg extensions, etc. develop all the muscles of the human body.
