Facilities and Infrastructure

Residential Accommodations:

Separate hostels are available for boys and girls with 164 and 156 rooms respectively with a total building area of 17,000 sq.m. Rooms are available for single, double, triple, and quadruple accommodation with attached bathrooms. Kitchens are well equipped with modern steam cooking systems. Clean and hygienic dining halls are maintained throughout. Hostels are provided with reading rooms, TV rooms, and recreation halls. A doctor visits the college/hostels on all days to render medical attention to needy students.

Library:

St.Peter’s University has a unique Library network on campus. It includes Central Library, Postgraduate Library, and Departmental Libraries. Book Bank Section and Hostel Libraries for the benefit of the students. The University Library has 68069 Volumes of books and 27928 titles. The Library has 2047 books in the Book Bank section for SC/ST students. The Library also has a repository of Project Reports, Indian Standards Code books, and CD-ROMS. NPTEL course materials and Video lectures are made available in all subjects for the benefit of Students. The library subscribes to 233 online E-Journals, ie IEEE, ASME, ASCE, DELNET, and 77 hard copies of National and International Journals. University Library is an Institutional member of the following external Libraries namely SERC Library, British Council Library, American Library, DELNET, NPTEL, and Inflibnet.

Placement & Training

A separate Training and Placement cell exists to arrange training programs and placement drives for students. Students are given special training on personal development and soft skills right from the first semester which helps them to face life with confidence and also to perform well during placement tests and interviews conducted by various companies. Every academic year around 90% of students are placed and the rest pursue their higher studies. Placement interviews are arranged within the campus by inviting reputed firms and also in other institutions. The following companies visit our campus for placement.
