St. Thomas College, Bhilai, whose mission was to work for the spiritual, social, educational, cultural, and economic advancement of the people. Bhilai was a step in that direction by laying the foundation stone of St. Thomas College (STC). Founded in 1984 and initially associated with Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur, the institution moved to Hemchand Yadav Vishwavidyalaya, Durg in 2015.
