Sushila Institute of Medical Sciences is approved by Indian Nursing Council. and is affiliated with Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Uttarakhand Medical University.
Sushila Institute of Medical Sciences courses is offered at various levels like Diploma Degrees i.e General Nursing Midwifery (GNM), etc. Undergraduate Degrees i.e Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Nursing, Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Medical Laboratory Technology and so on. A spacious and Air-Conditioned seminar hall with a minimum of 250 seating capacity is available on campus. It is well-equipped with Audio and Visual Systems. Events such as meetings and seminars are organized here.

Audio visual Room is provided with all teaching aids, OHP, Slide Projector, Television, Video Player, LCD Projector, Video Camera, Still Camera, DVD, Multimedia Computer, Audio Systems, Microscopic Projector, etc., in order to ensure the overall development of students.
Each section of students has separate classrooms and Classrooms are well furnished and ventilated. Other facilities consist of Drawing Hall, Conference Hall, etc.
The students have all the facilities for games and sports. Sport is an essential part of the all-around development at SIMS Group of Colleges. It provides the opportunity for engagement, responsibility, enjoyment and a sense of pride in achievement, regardless of scale or magnitude, and a sense of team spirit. No matter what sports students choose to pursue it is important that after hours of sitting and attending classes, children get the chance to stay active, run around, and play which, in turn, will actually make them more alert and productive for the following lessons.
The college has a well-furnished and hygienic canteen which provides healthy and nutritious food to the students. A canteen with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food is also available on the college campus.
