The training and placement cell of SVITS is actively interacting with various industries and developing continuous rapport to expose the students to a practical environment to enable the students to integrate theory and practice. Further, the cell is bringing Industries to the institution to impart industry-grade employability skills, and outsourcing the research work/projects. The training and placement cell also provides an opportunity for the students to handle live projects following Industry standards. Training in GRE/TOEFL for further studies abroad. To facilitate the final year students planning to go abroad for higher studies are given intensive training in GRE & TOEFL to withstand the competition. This helped the students to seek admission to reputed foreign universities.

The Training & placement cell maintains contact with various industries/organizations and arranges campus interviews. The Placement Cell also arranges training during semester break and summer training students. TPC also looks after the registration of alumni feedback from passing out students, and the unctioning of Alumni association. To make the students industry-ready, SVITS conducts training throughout the year. The students of SVITS are also well-prepared to face the competitive world. Experts from the industry are invited to interact with the students. Career counseling is being done by professionals to guide students in career planning.

SVITS engineers emphasize experimental learning during the training process. To achieve that, the college adopts a pedagogical practice that provides opportunities for enhanced learning through cooperation with Industry, Business, Counterpart institutions, and international organizations. Some of the svitsians are going for higher studies into prestigious institutions. A substantial number of them have taken admission into renowned Universities in India and Abroad every year.

Achievements

Most of the students who have passed out from SVITS are well-placed in industries or pursuing higher studies in India and Abroad. More than 70 % of students of 2the 009 batch have been placed in various reputed companies like TCS/ INFOSYS ACCENTURE MPHASIS/CAP-GEMINI/ L&T InfoTech/PATNI/ZENSAR etc. More than 80 % of CS and IT students have been placed through campus placement where remaining have chosen higher studies. Svits has a Memorandum of understanding(MoU) with the Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge (TASK). This institution has STAR status with TASK. In association with TASK, a few corporate training programs are being conducted every year. Presently, Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) and Infosys Foundation Programs(FP) are in progress.
