Swami Keshvanand Institute of Pharmacy (SKIP) was established in the year 2005 under the auspices of the Marudhar Education Society as the first self-financed technical institute in the Bikaner region. The College provides students a platform to transform knowledge to practice and also develop their technical and communication skills along with leadership qualities. In addition to technical skills, the college inculcates social responsibility in the students.

Training and Placement cell

Swami Keshvanand Institute of Pharmacy has an independent Training and Placement cell. The cell is committed to providing all possible assistance to its students and also catering to the needs of organizations. It is headed by an Officer in charge designated as a Training & Placement officer and supported by three Placement Coordinators. It ensures the student secures esteemed positions.

ANIMAL HOUSE

The department has well ventilated, air-conditioned, hygienic animal house which is well acquired with 90-sq. meter areas. The animal house contains various animals like guinea pigs, rats, mice, rabbits, etc.

LIBRARY

A well-maintained & spacious library comprises of textbooks, magazines & scientific journals of various subjects. It has a very rich collection of more than 5000 current volumes of books with 20 National and 05 International Journals, which make you aware of the recent development in Pharmaceutical Sciences.

MUSEUM

An attractive separate museum with the latest models of the human body and a display of herbal drugs has been set up. Various posters regarding the latest topic of the Pharmacy profession have been put up.

INTERNET FACILITY

Round-the-clock Internet facility is provided on the college campus through 8 Mbps (1:1) leased line connectivity via web proxy. Internet is available in all the computer labs, offices of all departments, and hostel. 24×7 internet surfing facility is available. Campus Connected through Fully Wi-Fi.

TRANSPORT FACILITY

The college is situated 17 km away from Bikaner City on NH-11 Jaipur road. Our college provides an outsourced transport facility for students & faculty members from all the prime locations of Bikaner city at reasonable charges.

HOSTEL FACILITY

The college has spacious, well-ventilated, and well-furnished separate hostels for boys and girls. Both the hostels are connected to the main Institute building by pathways. The boy’s hostel has the capacity of 350 single-seated rooms and the girl’s hostel has 50 double-seated rooms. Our hostels have a wi-fi internet facility. A sufficient number of guest rooms for parents, guardians & visiting/guest faculties are available in the hostels. Students live and learn in an open, pollution-free, and green environment. On the whole, we provide an ‘at at-home feel’ for our students.

CANTEEN & MESS

The college has excellent, modern and clean mess & canteen. These serve quality food and refreshment at affordable rates. Separate mess facilities for boys & girls are available and customized to suit every need & budget.

SPORTS & RECREATION

SKIP provides many modes of sports and recreation. For the mental and physical development of our students, we offer facilities for all the popular indoor games i.e. chess, badminton, table tennis, carom, etc., and outdoor games i.e. cricket, volleyball, basketball, softball, football, and athletic track for races. College motivates students to participate in all sports tournaments and nurtures sports spirit in the students. Such activities relieve the students from all burdens and anxieties and steep them with energy. Our college students have bagged many awards and prizes in numerous sports and games under the supervision of our sports officer
