1. Residential Accommodation:
The College provides accommodation for its bona fide male students at the Government Colleges Hostel located just behind the college building on CRoad, Churchgate. Here, one hundred and thirty Sydenham College students get accommodation every year. It has a common room, library, reading room, recreation room, gym, canteen, and canteen. For girls, accommodation is available at Telang Memorial Hostel, CRoad, Churchgate, and Savitribai Phule Government Girls Hostel, Marine Drive, Charni Road. However, only a limited number of female students get accommodation here.
2. The library:
The college library is situated on the second floor of the building. It has a large living room that provides a peaceful and serene environment for studying. It has a collection of more than fifty thousand classic and modern books. He subscribes to numerous national and international trade and business magazines and periodicals as well as to encyclopedias of various disciplines. It is one of the few university libraries in the University of Mumbai that offers an open access system for students. It has a language laboratory that allows students to master English. It also offers students the possibility of making photocopies. The Library's reading room is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
3. Computer Center:
The college has two well-equipped laboratories on the ground floor. In these workshops, the practice of different classes such as S.Y.B.Com, T.Y.B.Com, B.M.S, and banking and Insurance is done. Third computer lab for B.Com in the bank & amp; Insurance students are open in the BBI computer lab.
4. Gymkhana:
The college gymkhana also has had its share of glory and contributes a great deal to the overall development of the students. It offers a wealth of on-campus amenities, such as a basketball court, volleyball court, and a state-of-the-art multi-station gym. The Gymnasium Hall also facilitates a range of indoor games such as chess, carrom, and table tennis.
5. Sport:
Physical education is strongly aimed at improving the physical and mental health of the individual player. This results in the development of dynamic personalities. Sports activities and achievements have helped many people get better job opportunities. The clean area with the natural gift of fresh air is an inspiring resource, which motivates the player to perform better. Sports carry the same weight as academics. All sports activities are encouraged by providing all facilities when students participate in intercollegiate, Intra college, and other tournaments. The victorious university teams have won all major sporting events in Tamil Nadu including the Anna University Interzonal Sports Championship.
6. Canteen:
The college canteen on the ground floor is spacious and well lit. Its surroundings are clean and hygienic, the food is sumptuous but the rates are reasonable. Opens at 7 a.m.30 a.m. & closes until 7.30 am in the evening, catering also to students in evening classes.
7. Auditorium:
The Collegio has an ultra-modern auditorium, air-conditioned, renovated, and recently inaugurated. It has a capacity of four hundred and fifty comfortable seats. It offers light and sound effects for budding college playwrights, in addition to acting as a venue for other activities such as co-curricular and extra-curricular programs, seminars, symposia, and Golden Jubilee conferences.
