Symbiosis is one of India's leading educational institutions, providing quality education in various fields for over four decades. In recognition of its pioneering work in education,  Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce has been awarded the “Autonomy” award by the University Grants Commission, New Delhi from the academic year 2012/13.  However, we are still under  Savitribai Phule Pune University in Pune where our students will graduate. In a poll conducted by India Today, Neilson-Org Marg, our university has been ranked among the top ten universities in India and the best in the city of Pune for the past ten years in a row.  The Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce has been reaccredited by the NAAC with an “A+” with a CGPA of 3.51 for its postgraduate degree. Infrastructure and Facilities

Library:

The  Symbiosis College of Arts & Commerce was founded in August 1983, as was the library. Over the years, the company has gradually expanded, adding infrastructure, acreage, and manpower. In order to keep up with technology, the library has adopted automated systems for its operation and administration and established an electronic library for its users.  Subsidies received from the UGC  enrich his collection. The library has a good infrastructure and a pleasant atmosphere. It is spread over three different locations on the SCAC  campus. The main library is on the ground floor and has 1,250 square meters of storage and administration space and 1,250 square meters. Readable. The bibliographic area and the electronic library are located in the basement. In this area, computer terminals allow students to access the library's electronic resources. The library is managed by the Library Advisory Board (BAC). The director is the chair of the committee and the librarian is the secretary. The commission consists of 11 members, including the deputy director and the HOD, as well as representatives of the departments of the various faculties of the university.  The members of the committee meet at least every six months. Committee members discuss issues related to library management, collections development, services, and policymaking. Members make suggestions for improving library services and developing collections for the benefit of students and staff.

Boys Hostel:

The Institute has a separate dormitory for boys. Out-of-state students or students who do not live near the college may use the facilities at SCAC Hostel.

Girls Hostel:

Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce offers a separate student residence. The rooms in the hostel are clean and tidy. Students have access to all basic hostel services.

Medical Facilities:

There is a primary health care center on campus. The health center has a doctor, an ophthalmologist, an otolaryngologist, and a dentist, etc. OPD services are also provided for students. Check camps are also organized on campus from time to time.

Gym :

To keep an eye on the physical fitness of the students, the Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce has a gym equipped with the latest equipment. Students can work out at the gym at their preferred time.

Sports:

The institute offers its students indoor and outdoor sports facilities. There is a huge playground on campus which is used for sports like cricket, football, hockey, volleyball, etc.

IT infrastructures:

Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce has a technically advanced IT infrastructure. All computers have the latest software. The campus has WiFi for students and teachers.

Canteen:

The college has a neat, hygienic canteen. The canteen offers students nutritious food at a reasonable price.   Auditorium:  Various scientific and cultural activities are organized in the auditorium on the college premises. The hall is equipped with modern equipment.

Admission

Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce Admissions – 

SCAC Pune offers admission to UG and PG courses. 

The institute offers a total of 14 courses. 

The SCAC admission to graduate studies is based on the results of the last proficiency test. 

Admission to the Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce Graduate Program is based on the grades of applicants with a bachelor's degree. 

As per the Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce admissions process, applicants must first complete an application form. 

The application form is filled out online. The college offers 10 courses. 

Admission to the Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce is for 12th-grade applicants. 

Popular Bachelor programs are BCom, BCom(H) Banking, BA(H) Economics, etc. 

Eligible applicants should fill out the application form on the official university website. 

Pay the pre-registration fee and send the form to the University Secretariat (candidates can also send it by post). 

Based on the results of the candidate's HSC examination, the university publishes an evaluation of the work.
