The main goal is to make the library the most effective educational resource center promoting the quality of higher education. The college has a well-equipped computer library with a good collection of books, journals, and magazines. It is administered and managed by a qualified librarian. The information section is open during the opening hours of the university. The library has enough space for students and teachers to read.

National Service Scheme:

Students can join either NCC or NSS if they are college students. Objectives: The main objectives of the National Service System (NSS) are: Understand the community in which they work understand themselves in relation to their community identify community needs and problems and involve them in problem-solving to develop a mutual sense of social and civic responsibility to use their knowledge to find practical solutions to individual and community problems to develop the skills necessary for group life and responsibility sharing acquire skills to mobilize community participation to acquire leadership qualities and democratic attitudes develop the capacity to respond to emergencies and natural disasters and pursue national integration and social harmony

National Cadet Corps:

College NCC was started in 1977. Students can join either NCC or NSS as college students. To develop the ideals of character, friendship, discipline, leadership, world views, spirit of adventure, and selfless service. the youth of the country. To create an organized, trained, and motivated human resource for young people, to be a leader in all walks of life, and to be always available to serve the people.

Gym:

The college also offers a gymnasium with all the necessary equipment for your exercise routine.

Cafe/Mess Facility:

Scholarships

Primrose Gatphoh Memorial Award - Awarded annually to the student who has achieved the highest grade and overall grade across the institution. Thomas Memorial Jones Award - Awarded annually to the student who has achieved the degree and obtained the highest marks in languages ??(English and Khasi). Dr. . D. Wanswett Prize - Awarded annually to a student who has achieved a degree and obtained the highest marks in Science and BCA. Synod College Academic Excellence - Awarded to a student who has achieved first class and highest grade in the relevant department. Special Scholarship for Meritorious Students - Awarded annually to students of all semesters currently enrolled in the college who obtain first division and highest marks in their respective departments.
