Tagore P.G. Girls College (College Code-389) is situated just 6 Km from the main city of Jaipur, the Pink City, and the capital of Rajasthan. This is a self-sponsored (non-aided) Girls' university which become set up in July 2004 at Vaishali Nagar with the aid of using the Director of Tagore Group of Institutions, Sh. P.D. Singh. The college conducts multi-dimensional activities to develop the all-round personality of the students and provide them with constructive occupations and alternatives. The whole surroundings are serene and conducive to the various academic activities.

Class Rooms:

Spacious, provided, and properly ventilated lecture rooms of 750 sq. ft. are quite suitable for using a slide projector, OHP, VCR, Infosys, Infotech aids, etc. to enhance the teaching-learning process. CD, multimedia, and Internet facilities are also available.

Canteen:

The College Canteen has a large spacious area with a variety of nutritious & hygienic refreshments.

Conveyance:

Bus facility is available from every corner of the city. Charges for the facility will be separate and will differ according to the distance.

Hostel:

Hostel lodging is available . Seats are limited. Hostel forms are to be filled in and submitted separately to the college office.

Library:

The college has a nicely stocked library having 5500 books approx in conjunction with reference books and a nicely geared up and supplied studying room. More than 30 journals and magazines and daily newspapers both in Hindi and English are provided to the students to update them with the latest developments and create awareness about their surroundings. 

Auditorium:

The College has an auditorium of 800 seats with ultramodern facilities and is in sync with conferences, seminars & assemblies.

Laboratories:

The college has the most updated and well-equipped laboratories with all sophisticated instruments for bringing excellence to theoretical as well as practical knowledge in Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science, Home Science, Drawing & Painting, and Geography Subjects.

Admission

For M.A., the candidate must have secured 50% marks in graduation from any stream and 60%(min.) in graduation for Other than Rajasthan University Students. For B.A./ B.Com./B.Sc., Senior Secondary (10+2) or any equivalent examination from any recognized Board/University with at least 50% marks.
