TKIET Warananagar was established in 1983 under the aegis of Shree Warana Vibhag Shikshan Mandal, Warananagar. The campus of the institute spreads over an area of 30 acres of land. Tatyasaheb Kore Institute of Engineering and Technology is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with a grade of A. The institute is also accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). TKIET Warananagar is an autonomous and self-financed engineering college. The courses offered by the institute are B. TKIET Warananagar laboratory facilities include modern instruments and apparatus to help the students in practicals. Every department of the institute has its own laboratories.

TKIET Warananagar has an on-campus medical clinic. The medical clinic provides basic first-aid facilities to the students, institute staff and faculty members for free. Trained medical officers administer the primary treatment.

Admission

TKIET Warananagar admissions are offered to the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. For undergraduate programme admission, the institute accepts scores of MHT CET or JEE Main. Similarly, for Tatyasaheb Kore Institute of Engineering and Technology admission to the M.Tech programme, scores of GATE are accepted. The institute releases a cutoff to shortlist candidates for counselling in the case of the B.Tech programme. As per the TKIET Warananagar admission procedure for the M.Tech programme, candidates have to register for CAP admission counselling after the declaration of the result, merit list and cutoff. After the selection of the candidates they finally have to submit the documents and pay the fees.
