As we witness an increase in demand for healthcare professionals across the globe, SMART Academy for Healthcare, Pune is the latest initiative of the Tech Mahindra Foundation to train the youth to become healthcare professionals. It is the eighth SMART Academy in India and the fourth in Allied Health and Paramedics. This is an initiative in collaboration with the Salesian Sisters. Located in the Mundhwa area of Pune, this institute is spread over 7516 square meters and is provided with 7 classrooms and 7 laboratories with state-of-the-art facilities.

SMART Healthcare Academy Pune offers HSSC (Healthcare Sector Skill Council) certified Diplomas in Paramedic and related healthcare-certified courses like General Duty Assistant (GDA), Hospital Hygiene Assistant, and Graduate Certificate courses in Hospital Front Office and Billing Executive Program. At a later stage, the institute will also train the youth in medical laboratory technology, dialysis technology, operating room, vision and eye technology, and X-ray and imaging technology.
