The candidates who want to be admitted to this institute must take part in any of the accepted entrance examinations. Below are the admission processes for all the courses offered in TMSL Kolkata

To take part in the counseling process for admission to the B.Tech courses a candidate must have passed the 10+2 examination and possess a valid score in WBJEE or JEE Main. The candidates will be allocated a seat based on their scores in the entrance examination. 80% of seats will be filled by WBJEE candidates, JEE Mains candidates will fill 10% of the seats, and the rest of the seats will be filled through management quota. For candidates with a Diploma in engineering, there’s also a provision of lateral entry in 2nd year via the JELET examination.

To gain admission in the M.tech programs a candidate must have a B.E./ B.Tech or equivalent degree in the relevant discipline and must have a valid score in the WBUT PGET/ GATE examination.

To be admitted to the MBA program a candidate must be a graduate in any discipline with a valid score in MAT/ JEMAT.
