Teegala Krishna Reddy Educational Society was established in the year 2001 with the motto to provide Quality Education to the economically and geographically underprivileged population. Sri. Teegala Krishna Reddy, MLA, Maheswaram constituency is the chairman of TKRES with the Mission of making education available to all the needy, poor, and rural populations economically. Teegala Krishna Reddy College of Pharmacy was established in the year 2007 and approved by AICTE, PCI, and is affiliated to JNTUH with an intake of 60. The intake was increased to 120 in the year 2010.   Another milestone in the development of the Pharmacy College in 2010 was the introduction of two PG courses, with the approval of AICTE. Additional 3 PG courses were introduced in the successive academic years up to 2013-2014 with the approval of AICTE.

Infrastructure and Facilities:

Library

The Principal has informed me that the library of any college can be likened to the brain, while the labs are to that of the heart of any college. To develop strong intellectual abilities, a good library is a must. In tune with the avowed objective of achieving academic excellence, the college has laid a strong foundation for a good library. Stress was laid more on quality, though quantity is also important. Most of the advanced books, required for PG courses, have been procured. The CDs of the books were also obtained and the PG students are encouraged to use them also.

Laboratories

A total of Twenty labs (20) are now available and are put to use. All the labs are fitted with gas, water, and electrical connections. All of them are having state of the art equipment. The laboratories can cater to the needs of additional PG courses which we propose to start in the next academic year.

Hostel

A full fledge women’s hostel is being within the campus. The hostel caters to the needs of about 500 girl students studying on campus. Private boys’ hostels are run around the campus.

Transport

Private transport facility is available from important locations of the city to the campus. These Eight (08) buses are being run by TKR Education Society for this purpose, TSRTC runs buses up to the campus from important centers like Koti, Secunderabad station, etc.

Computer Lab

The college has a strong computer center to cater to the needs of the B.Pharm and M.Pharm students. The following facilities are available in our computer lab.

Placements

The placement officer, Dr.Madan Kumar, takes care of the placement of the final-year students. In 2011 the first batch of B. Pharmacy students left the portal of this institution. 80% of outgoing students got job offers from various pharmaceutical companies and organizations.

Six students from the 2008-2012 batch, 15 students from the 2009-13 batch,12 students from the 2010-14 batch, and 2011-15 batch 15 students from batch have qualified in GRE, and TOEFL and got admission to various reputed universities in abroad UK, USA, CANADA, AUSTRALIA, etc.

About 20 students from the 2012-2016 batches have got placed in good positions in various MNCs, Pharmaceutical industries, and branded Pharmacy franchises.

following companies have visited the college for campus recruitment and selected students of  B. Pharm & M. Pharm, from June 2015 to March 2019.

Convener quota seats: GPAT-qualified candidates will be considered in the first round. PGECET-qualified candidates will be considered next
